Habt ihr schon von SN@P gehört?!

Nein?! Na dann wir des höchste Zeit :) Eine wirklich aussergewöhnlich gute Ergänzung zu Smash – SN@P ist eine Mischung aus Project Life und meinem geliebten Smash. Was ich an Sn@p besonders gut finde, sind die Ordner und die Klarsichtschutzhüllen in verschiedenen Größen. Das “Smashen” wird noch einfacher und man kann auch mal eine Seite weiter vorne anfügen. Richtig gut! Und das Beste – Whiff of Joy hat diese Serie mit ins Sortiment aufgenommen – HIER könnt ihr nach Herzenslust stöbern!

No?! Well, it is about time :) It is a terrific addition to Smash – a mix between Project Life and Smash. What I instantly like about SN@P were the file folders (because you can add a page in the front if you like) and the page protectors, which come in different sizes. This makes “Smashing” even easier. Great! And the best of it – Whiff of Joy has it all in stock :) – go and have a look!

Der Einband meines Smashbooks - aufgehübscht

Seit Langem steht es schon auf der Liste meiner “Mach es schöner” To-do Liste :) Jetzt endlich geschafft! Das wunderschöne “Kraft” Cover der Smashbooks schreit aber auch nach einer gezielten Aufhübschung. Darauf kann man prima mit hellen Farben arbeiten und erzielt somit tolle Kontraste. Die weissen Spritzer habe ich mit dem Spray von Studio Calico gemacht (der ist nämlich WIRKLICH deckend weiss :)

It’s been on my to-do list for ages :) Finally I made it to decorate my smashbook cover. I love the beautiful kraft material of it – you can gain wonderful light/dark effects with ink and sprays. I worked with Studio Calicos opaque white (which is indeed opaque for a change :).

Ich habe den Hintergrund mit einer Maske gestaltet (schaut euch mein Video an, wenn ihr wissen wollt, wie einfach das geht) und dann darüber gestempelt. Die Schichten Papier sind alle von October Afternoon’s Cakewalk Papierkit (mein absoluter Favorit zur Zeit). Den herzigen Digi Stempel von WoJ habe ich mit Distress Markers coloriert. Paßt der nicht perfekt zu meinen 2 Ns? :-)

I used a mask to create the background (watch my video to see how easy it is) and stamped over it afterwards. The layers of paper are from October Afternoon’s Cakewalk 8x8 collections (my absolute favourite at the moment). I colored the cute digi stamp with Distress Markers. Isn’t it perfect for a book about my two Ns? :)

Weekly Blog Zuckerl 16/05

Oje! Einen ganzen Tag zu spät mit meinem wöchentlichen Blog Zuckerl. Bitte entschuldigt. Aber der Tag hat zur Zeit zu wenig Stunden :)
Wie ihr ja wisst, gibt es bei Whiff of Joy morgen neue Digi Stempel (das Design Team hat sich ja mit tollen Basteleien übertroffen!). Deswegen dreht sich mein Zuckerl auch darum.
Heute verlose ich dies 5 super niedlichen, hochauslösenden Digi Stempel.

A little preview in the morning…

Eine kleine Vorschau am Morgen…

… vertreibt Kummer und Sorgen :) So geht es zumindest mir immer.
Wir stehen bei Whiff of Joy schon in den Startlöchern für zuckersüße Digi Stempel Neuerscheinungen (was für ein Wort!!).
6 neue Motive sind dabei, Eines niedlicher als das Andere. Und das Besondere: sowohl Alison Acton, Gina Elerion als auch Norma Fickel haben Illustrationen beigesteuert *toll*!

6 sparkling new images, one cuter than the other. And the special thing about it: Alison Acton, Gina Elerion AND Norma Fickel contributed illustrations *great*

Ich wurde angesteckt!!! Nein, nicht mit einem Virus :-/ Sondern mit der Notizblock-Einband-Mania der 2 Schnipsel (oh weh, schon wieder so ein kompliziertes Wort…LOL). Aber diese Einbände sind auch toll, ganz schnell und einfach gemacht und eine super Geschenks Idee. Außerdem bleibt auf so einem A5 Einband genug Platz um sich kreativ auszutoben. Die eigentliche Anleitung stammt von Kuya für den Stempeleinmaleins Blog. Wirklich gelungen!

Wichtig ist nur, dass man sehr stabilen Cardstock als Grundlage verwendet, damit das Endergebnis einen stabilen, wertigen Eindruck macht. Der Karton von Whiff of Joy mit seinen 300g ist da sehr gut geeignet.

 

I got infected!!! Not with a virus :-/ but with the A5 notepad-cover-mania of the 2 Schnipsels (oh what a word…LOL). But those covers are so much fun to make, very easy and quick – the perfect little present. And there is lots of room on the covers to decorate and scrap – love it!
You can find the original tutorial for the A5 notepad cover on the SEME blog (it is in English as well).

Very improtant is heavy cardstock to create a valuable result. The 300g cardstock from Whiff of Joy is perfect for this.

Ist das nicht ein wunderschönes Sommermotiv? Coloriert habe ich diesen neuen Digi Stempel von Whiff of Joy mit Distress Markers. Für die Schattierungen nehme ich gerne immer noch ein wenig Schwarz.

Isn’t this a gorgeous summer image?! I colored this new digi stamp from Whiff of Joy with Distress markers. I like to us a little black for the shadows here and there.

 

1. Andrea & Clarissa created an absolutely breathtaking little drawer – a MUST see!! the top decoration is heavenly.
2. Jeanet scrapped a marvelous card using lots of dies and the cute new Norma Fickel stamp.
3. OMG! Have you seen Karin’s incredible Distress reinkers coloration on this card!? Amazing!
4. Vacation for the eyes – Karina’s soft, light summer card.
5. Marion created a terrific little scene with the new “Little fisherman” digi stamp. Check out her work, if you want to learn how to do it with Copics.
6. Sabine shares a bright, fun card with lots of fabulous layering.
7. Sara is the queen of white cats, dogs and mice. Her coloration is always a delight.
8. Clean and simple – if you understand how to do it like Stacy, you are a pro :)
9. Vicky created one of her brilliant cards, full of detail – have a look!

Die laufende Challenge bei WoJ lautet “Alles ausser einer Karte”. Na wenn mein Notizzettelblock da nicht perfekt rein paßt! :)
